I do sports research. Numbers and data. Used to do @SportsCenter and BBTN for @ESPNStatsInfo. Reppin' Philly and Penn State. I, too, am a neat guy.
The @Eagles will play 10 teams next season that made the playoffs this season. No team in NFL history has played that many playoff teams from the year before. HOME: Commanders, Broncos, Lions, Rams ROAD: Commanders, Packers, Chiefs, Chargers, Vikings, Bills, Buccaneers.
EVERY TEAM'S NFL 2025 OPPONENTS Each team plays against teams with the same row, column, color, or shape.
This Is Football: Mina and I got angry at modern QB debates. "There are two kinds of people: People who think we have to pretend quarterbacks exist in a vacuum. And people who acknowledge it is the most contextual position in any major sport." -@minakimes. Amazing episode.
Phillies need a RHH OF. Jo Adell started slow, but on May 6 he hit a 9th inning HR in a blowout that got things going for him. Since then (67 gms) he has a .907 OPS (top 20 in MLB) with 19 HR (T-6th), and his .563 SLG is higher than any Phillies player. Go get him, Dave.
Cristopher Sanchez Past 8 Starts: ⚾️ 1.54 ERA, 60 K, 6 BB, 1 HR, .484 Opp OPS Sick stuff. #RingTheBell

Hey @jaysonst, have you ever seen a catcher's interference on a pitch the batter didn't *swing* at?
Only the 2nd time in the past 100 years of baseball there was a walk-off catcher's interference. The only other one was in 1971 (Dodgers beat Reds). #RingTheBell
The most hilarious walkoff in Phillies history. Just how you draw it up!
This guy is awesome. I hate that he plays for an NL East team and the Phillies have to face him a dozen times a year. But he's incredible.
Ronald Acuña Jr. going first-to-home on a single that traveled 11 feet in the air is ELECTRIC.

It's his 5th game this season with 10 K and 0 BB, tied with Tarik Skubal for most in the majors. It's his 12th in the past 5 seasons, 2 more than anyone else. And it's his 12th with the Phillies, 2 more than any other pitcher in Phillies history. #RingTheBell

Bryce Harper has 14 hits in his last eight games and 13 of them are extra-base hits. He's raised his slugging percentage by 84 points in that span.
Welcome home #GoBirds
Micah Parsons just shared this post about Jerry Jones' comments today 👀 "Just because we sign [Micah] doesn't mean we're gonna have him. He was hurt 6 games last year." "I remember signing a player for the highest paid at the position in the league and he got knocked out 2/3…
Bryce Harper's last 11 hits: - Home run - Double - Double - Double - Single - Double - Double - Home run - Double - Home run - Double His 10 extra-base hits over the last 6 games are tied for his most XBH in any 6-game span of his career.
It’s the 6th time this season he’s had 10 strikeouts and allowed 1 run or fewer in a game. That’s twice as many as any other pitcher in baseball.
Tarik Skubal was NASTY tonight 🔥
Last 2 regular-season games for the @Marlins' Kyle Stowers: 8 hits 5 HR 11 RBI Since RBI became an official stat in 1920, the only other MLB player to reach those numbers over a 2-game span was Ty Cobb from May 5-6, 1925 (9 H, 5 HR, 11 RBI).
Kyle Stowers is the first player in MLB history with 5 homers in a 2-game span including a walk-off home run h/t @EliasSports
My goodness, Kyle Stowers is on a HEATER 🔥 He has FIVE homers in his last two games (AND a homer in the All-Star Game swing-off)
Five players representing five different countries are tied for the lead at @TheOpen after round 1. This is the first time in men's major championship history that 5+ players, each playing under different flags, shared the lead after any round.
Kyle Schwarber has homered in AL Wild Card NL Wild Card NLDS ALDS NLCS ALCS World Series WBC Championship All-Star Game Swing off
Clayton Kershaw asking John Smoltz what he wants him to throw and then throwing that pitch is legitimately awesome and *easily* the best use of mic’d up I’ve seen
We’re at Disney and a parade just went by. A float with princesses, a float with Mickey and the gang, and then a few more walking characters. It was relatively short so my 4-year-old didn’t realize it was over, and he ended up just waving to some guy in a Raiders hat.
