Jayden Daniels' 2024 production is nearly identical to Kyler Murray's average season in the same exact offense. Same system. Same stats. Despite Washington's crazy easy schedule. Food for thought.

I love Alex Brown. He was one of my very favorite Bears as a kid. Serially underrated. Because the pass is WAY more dangerous & it's easy to find DTs and LBs who can stop the run. It's near impossible to stop the pass from any position, except maybe DE or (kinda) CB (I guess).
Why don’t run stopping defensive ends get the same love and respect as the pass rushing specialists? “At the end of the day it’s still 2nd and 13” -Former Bears and Saints defensive end Alex Brown
Brashard Smith already getting those Jerrick McKinnon reps 👀 This guy is gonna be such an awesome fit in Andy Reid's offense
What if Ben Johnson can simultaneously be a genius playcaller... and somewhat socially competent enough to "build the culture™️"?
The word "intense" was used a lot this spring to describe practice and the shared mentality of Ben Johnson and his coaches. That carried over to Day 1 of training camp where the 1st team offense got thrown out of a drill by Johnson during a drill when they couldn't get lined up…
I cannot wait to bet on the saints in the pre-season. QB competitions --> effort and competence in the 2nd half.
#Saints QB Spencer Rattler with the first team today. Tyler Shough with the second. Jake Haener was with the third team. We’ll see what the rotation looks like tomorrow.
Well. I hope Brkan Daboll finds a good OC job next year, but he has proven he doesn't understand QBs.
Brian Daboll on the starting QB job: “These guys will be out here competing but Russ is the starter.”
Breaking: Everyone is on the PUP list, and every team just signed a washed WR who still does one thing pretty well. Your favorite team's QB also had a great summer and looks ready to explode.
Friendly reminder as training camp starts: practice updates with notes on who stood out get a lot of clicks, but ultimately what matters is getting the key players to the regular season healthy. Feel free to tune out the other stuff over the next 6 weeks.
Without Tristan Wirfs, the Buccaneers' OL is BAD. Mayfield covered up a TON of warts in 2024, navigating the pocket like a savant, but the Bucs get a lot of credit for a fraudulent OL. The OGs are bad, the C is young & adjusting to the position, & the RT is just mistake prone.
Source: Former #Seahawks OT George Fant is working out for the #Bucs today. Fant has 75 career starts, and Tampa Bay is exploring options at OT with All-Pro Tristan Wirfs expected to miss the start of the season due to a knee injury.
I'm so starving for football I want to get so excited about Tyler Shough beginning his NFL career today, or pretend to glean some real insight on Josh Grizzard's playcalling in Tampa Bay. Will JJ McCarthy be the guy I expect, or will Howell push him? But really, until week 1...
Bryce Young profiled like a low-end starting QB or bridge in college. He was abysmal through about 1.5 years in the NFL. Then he looked solid at the end of the year. Can he keep it up and become a starting QB, or will Carolina be replacing him next spring?

If you're going to be a QB who struggles to manage a pocket, you can't take headshots looking like an actual deer in headlights. Hot seat: Michael Penix.

I agree Native representation is important, but the most recent Cal-Michigan poll with largest sample size to date said around 49% of Native Americans found the name offensive. I think all parties would be happy if they kept the logo and changed the name to a specific tribe.
There is one difference between the term "Redskins" and the terms "Trojans", "Yankees", "Rebels", or "Canucks". People feel really uncomfortable about the history of American-Native interactions, and would rather forget Indians exist than honor them as they were.
Honestly, good. Go get healthy and find a good offensive coach to join up with in 2026. Backup a shaky/elderly QB like whoever is in Indy, Stafford, Love, Purdy, Tua, etc. Wait for your shot to start, but this time in a decent situation for once. Levis is still a good QB.
Titans QB Will Levis will be undergoing season-ending surgery on the right shoulder injury he sustained early last year before further aggravating it later in the season. Levis has been unable to shake the discomfort and his shoulder still is bothering him. Levis is, in the…
My Top 10 QB Performers of 2025 projection. I mean it when I say I expect Drake Maye to perform at the highest level of any QB this year. The black number is where the QB's performance ranked in 2024. I expect JJ McCarthy & Tyler Shough to be high up in this list by December.
