There are people trying very hard to pour cold water on these gigs, saying they are full of non-fans and there was no atmosphere. Please don't listen to the haters. This is EXACTLY how it was, and it was JOYOUS!
This video from Heaton Park on Friday perfectly captures the spirit of these gigs. The whole thing felt like an away day, we were all supporting the same team, and every song was a last-minute winner. I don’t think there’s anything that brings so many people together like Oasis.
I was there last night, and I absolutely agree! Best Oasis concert I've been to, might even be the best concert full stop. Heart is full. Night made by the brilliant crowd. Pure joy!
Bit of a review of yesterday at Heaton Park. The best feel good concert I've attended. The friendliest crowd you could imagine, many parents with their kids and everyone just feeling so lucky and happy to be there. Staff were fantastic in that heat, water stations etc
