I too lost my Betfair account a few months ago. Hassled for numerous documents which I sent. Was re-opened and closed again with a week. Then an email saying it was closed for good, no explanation why and just baffling to be honest
My Betfair account has finally gone after 15 years , I was planning on leaving after World Cup 2026 but the decision has been taken out of my hands now , I’ve not been given an explanation as to why my account has been closed , the standard response from flutter thesedays

Worth also mentioning Portrush and any other venue in the uk/ire are never immune from arseholes. Behaviour of sections of the fans, comments etc were awful. Pissed up, ill informed, not there for the golf at all. Ryder Cup fervour taking hold... Gimme strength
