Proud PI moment! @harvineet_singh presents "A hierarchical decomposition for explaining ML performance discrepancies" at JSM! If you want to know why the performance of an ML model differs between two domains, check out our method here: arxiv.org/abs/2402.14254

🚨New study led by Izzy Friesner (now @CUMedicalSchool med student) with @Jean_J_Feng, @NitinOhri3 + team @MontefioreNYC! We developed a #machinelearning approach with #wearables to predict hospitalization during #cancer treatment @UCSFCancer @UCSF_BCHSI @UCJointCPH #radonc 1/3
A machine learning approach with daily step counts from wearable devices from three prospective trials to predict unplanned hospitalization of patients undergoing chemoradiation was developed and validated in this study. ja.ma/4ax3WA1
📢 We're excited to share that our proposal to develop statistical frameworks for auditing/red-teaming LLMs has been funded by @PCORI. We're now looking for a postdoc to join our lab for the next 2 years. Please RT! jeanfeng.com/joining.html
