What a fall for Hudson Head, who headlined the Joe Musgrove deal in 2021. Ranked as high as #6 in the Pirates’ system. Head never really put up strong offensive numbers, and just hit a wall at AA; hitting just .116 this year for Altoona.
The Pirates organization has released Hudson Head. Was on the development list at the time of his release. Would imagine there are more to come in the next few days given draft picks signing, the deadline, etc.
