Kyiv. Bohdana, who is 9 months pregnant, writes on Instagram after the night shelling of Kyiv #Ukraine “2022: they took my father 2025: they took my home”
After last night’s Russian bombardment in Kyiv, a metro station — probably the most bombed one in the city — filled with smoke as people were sheltering in it. Russia used over 400 attack drones and 24 missiles in last night’s air raid across Ukraine.
Hi there. Do you, a friend, colleague, or family dog, want to nail #OSINT basics: geolocation, flight tracking, hidden info, disinfo etc? I've published 40 videos on YouTube. Upside: they're free. Downside: my Aussie twang and choice of intro tunes. youtube.com/@Bendobrown/fe…
Russia has launched 1,125 attack drones at Ukraine in the past two nights. Recently, Russia launched more attack drones in a single day than in the all of July last year, per @Cen4infoRes analysis. Our story on Russia's growing capabilities @mjluxmoore wsj.com/world/russia-i…

The Lolita update is that we’re besties now

Another harrowing night in Kyiv and my neighbourhood is getting pummelled. A boy ran into my shelter with his family earlier, crying . “I thought this was my last night,” he told his grandma as she cuddled him. Then, at 3:00 am: “I’m 8 years old now! It’s already my birthday!”
Trump told Zelensky it wasn’t his decision to freeze military supplies to Ukraine — and now the flow of arms has resumed. wsj.com/politics/natio…

After bombardments like yesterday's, Kyivans say hello with the words "was it loud where you were?" and later, when departing, wish each other quiet.
"Friday Morning", 2024 by Kateryna Kosianenko. About 550 (mostly) drones and missiles were sent by russians on Ukraine today (mostly on Kyiv). It was one of the largest attacks that lasted for 12 hours.

Russia fired 5,429 attack drones at Ukraine in June, an all-time high. During those air raids, drones are supplemented by cruise and ballistic missiles. June was one of the most difficult months for bombardments in Ukraine, ever. Last week, an F16 pilot died fighting an assault.

So Zelensky did everything Trump asked him to do, signed away mineral rights, agreed to an unconditional ceasefire, and the U.S. still cut off previously funded weapons supplies, leaving Ukrainian cities defenseless against Russian missile strikes. A lesson to all here.
