Professor of ('Joey Barton') Criminology. 'Poundshop academic' and 'tattooed troglodyte' I say what I think, and it might not be what others or my employers do
So with a lot of discussion of crime against business and its impact, here is an article @SecuritySheep, me and and colleagues at @StaffsUni #criminology and #policing have been working on, and my first time ever in in 'Policing and Society'. tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
Protecting beleivers not beliefs? Really? With this list of criminal offences, all of which are utterly abhorrent, and illegal and criminal right now. Offenders can be arrested, persecuted and jailed, and given more severe hate penalties. So why the need to define Islamaphobia?
Protecting believers, not beliefs. For example: bacon pinned to mosque doors, bricks thrown through mosque windows, hijabs being pulled from women’s heads, abuse directed at people because of their religion. All things that have happened to my Muslim constituents.
Wow. The broken in policing was never just 'so we will march at pride'. This must be a Chief Constable sacking from the PCC territory. Also, we need a much wider check on the culture and management in policing. Just what senseless culture has created this?

It was great to be at University of Staffs yesterday to see young people, often the first in their families to go to Uni like I was, celebrating their achievements. Proud of @StaffsUniJSS !

Predicting riots is complex. Many have thought prisons will all go up for a long time. It may not be big events, but as prisons show, the slow burn and lots of small unpredictable disorder is just as possible, and will be just as overwhelming for a system already in crisis.
"'We are going to have a summer of riots. You can just feel it. It is a tinderbox.'" After protests outside asylum hotels, @nicholaswatt reports what he has been told by a parliamentary veteran, who warns: "'My constituents feel they are losing control'". #Newsnight
I feel more and more that the delusional belief that a household survey captures the fundamental truth of crime in England is a very middle class lifestyle tell. It can reveal much about the person, where they reside and their social circle, but that is about all.
That crimewave in full...
Wonder how many criminologists have realised this is how much criminal migration happens? Work in Nursing (without any qualifications). There will be a vacancy, because we will boot out some Karen woman "transphobe"). Progressives of the lanyard class are very responsible.
'The UK' is a deeply corrupt country. To win the favour of the state, the first thing you have to is lie. Also helpful: hating the country, wanting to rinse it dry and getting in bed with organised crime.
The working class are no longer represented by any political party. They have no voice: nobody will write about them, make films about them, far less advocate for them. They are expected to die quietly. share.google/dO6z4pMmVbVVvH…
The list. The first though crime is to ever think about though crime. 1). It is Islamaphobic to question Islamaphobia. So if I ask, 'if because there is no universal Islam, can there be islamabobia'? am I being lslamaphobic? Rember 2 + 2 = 5. Ingsoc is closer than people think.
According to the 2018 "Islamophobia" report, everything on this list is "Islamophobic". The report was accepted by Labour and the man producing an "Islamophobia" definition for the government. Read my essay here - and see my next tweet to fight back. nicktimothy.co.uk/p/our-free-spe…
