I’m sure we’ll learn more in September when training camp starts
Follow up to the De’Aaron Fox situation: Per Fox’s Curry Brand Tour Host, the point guard is dealing with a muscle strain. The injury isn’t severe; it shouldn’t impact his availability this season. Opting out of the tour was a precautionary measure. #PorVida
Would’ve been perfect for OKC too. Fits their defense like a glove and they actually don’t have a big wing like him. Would’ve had plenty of time to develop as well.
Spurs really saw this and was like nah no way we let OKC get this guy lol.
This guy could not possibly be any more charming lol
Behind the Scenes 📽️ Carter Bryant after signing his contract: “I could get paid $0 and I would still play basketball just for the love of the game and see if I can be one of the best basketball players to ever touch a ball.” CB only worry is being a HOOPER⭐️ (via @spurs YT)
Hope that injury is nothing serious.
De'Aaron Fox announces that he won't be travelling to Asia (Tokyo, Hong Kong, Xi'an and Chongqing) for Under Armour's tour According to reporters from Hong Kong, it is due to a thigh/hamstring injury sustained in his workout
Crazy how both sides have fumbled so hard. Warriors should have dealt kuminga earlier to get a better return and kuminga should’ve accepted a new contract last year for more money.
The Golden State Warriors' criteria for any Jonathan Kuminga trade package, per @anthonyVslater: • At least one first-round pick. • A good young player. • No bad contracts in return.
Lots of spurs talk on here. Pretty much everyone I listen to is questioning the long term fit of Harper, Fox, and Castle. But both Bill and Zach are high on the spurs. I’m fascinated to see how it all plays out

Hate seeing this cuz Lonnie has so much talent and he was a fan favorite in SA. He just could never show any sort of consistency. Way too many games where he just floated around.
Lonnie Walker IV is signing with @EuroLeague power Maccabi Tel Aviv, his agent George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group tells @TheSteinLine. Walker, who finished last season with the Sixers, has an NBA buyout clause until Aug. 1 and will be one of Europe’s highest-paid players.
It’s because that lineup has optimal spacing & shooting. It’s why l think spurs are gonna start out with Fox-Castle-Vassell-Barnes-Wemby to start the year. I just worry this lineup will get crushed on the glass. Sochan becoming a reliable shooter is so important to this team.
CP3-Castle-Julian-Barnes-Wemby was the best lineup last season... and most advanced numbers are backing it up. Fox-Castle-Julian-Barnes-Wemby Harper-Devin-Jeremy-Kornet This would be my 9 men rotation. Add Carter is you want 10 men. It’s all about fit next to Wemby.
😭😭
I think about this video every time Lindy Waters III is mentioned. “Don’t even know who that is!” 💀
He’s better than Minix. Waters is solid. He started a lot of games for GSW last year and contributed. There’s a world where he cracks the rotation if other guys aren’t playing up to expectations.
I like it. I watched him a lot at GSW last year. Probably won’t play much but shoots the 3 well and competes hard on defense. He’s better than Wesley or Branham.
Free agent guard Lindy Waters III has agreed to a one-year deal with the San Antonio Spurs, agents Shy Saee and Winston Nelson of Klutch Sports tell ESPN. Waters has shot 37% from 3 in his first four NBA seasons in Oklahoma City, Golden State and Detroit.
I believe
Every off the dribble three from Stephon Castle's rookie year
49-33 Play in, 8 seed 1st round exit
What is your Spurs Record prediction? - Record - Do they make the Play-In or Playoffs? - How far in the playoffs do they go?
Because I'm bored in the off season... Let's say Spurs wanted to build around Harper & Castle & trade Fox... what Fox trade makes sense? I'll start. I could see a Fox for Franz trade, Fox for Trey & Herb, Fox + stuff Jaylen Brown. Just spit ballin.
Spurs were mediocre from 2019-2022. In 2022 they decided to trade all assets for picks for what’s looking like a 3 year period of attempting to rebuild and get elite level players. 2023: Victor 2024: #4 and #8 2025: 3-4 potential FRPs After that, THEN there will be an…
Bobby Marks if he was Spurs GM: "I'm taking Castle at No. 4 and going maybe wing w/ Cody Williams. The goal is to be competitive. Get to 30 wins, take another crack at the lottery next year. They've got (lists multiple firsts). That's their opportunity to take that next step."
It Fox and Wemby both play 70 games each, I think they’ll be well over this win total.
The Spurs’ current projected rotation next season: Starters: De’Aaron Fox, Dylan Harper, Stephon Castle, Harrison Barnes, Victor Wembanyama Second Unit: Devin Vassell, Carter Bryant, Keldon Johnson, Jeremy Sochan, Luke Kornet San Antonio’s over/under win total is set at 42.5.
This whole thread has aged really well.
Spurs have now have: 2028 Boston pick swap 2030 Minnesota pick swap 2030 Dallas Pick swap There’s a common theme here. Spurs are exploiting teams that are currently good and taking their draft capital several years in advance, betting on the fact that they won’t be able to…
Some good spurs talk in here. Both Zach and Mo are high on their future and think spurs could be in the Lakers & Warriors tier next season of a playoff team but not a title contender.

It’s nice to see the offense finally come around for him in summer league.
CARTER BRYANT COAST TO COAST GRABS THE BOARD AND TAKES IT ALL THE WAY FOR A DUNK!
Carter Bryant reminds me a lot of Tari Eason
I see the vision with Carter Bryant Type of player who’ll thrive next to 3 quality guards The outstanding athletic defense makes it easy for me to patient on his offensive development.
