The Lakers announced they waived Trey Jemison. Jemison appeared in 22 games for Los Angeles last season as a reserve big.

The Kings are widely believed to be targeting another veteran point guard to pair with new starter Dennis Schröder. Sacramento has remained in contact with their top two remaining targets: Russell Westbrook and Ben Simmons.

The Hornets are open to trading Josh Green, who they acquired last summer from the Mavericks. Green had a down year, but the 24-year-old has strong bounce back potential on a contending team. Green will make $13.7 million, then become a $14.7 million expiring contract in 2026.
