Building US-made drones stacked with ML GPUs. Founder ceo @ Flyby Robotics. Aviation & space nerd. 🛫 studied stuff @yale.
For folks who recently found my Twitter -- I'm the founder of @FlybyRobotics. We make American-made drones that bring the power of @nvidia GPUs to the sky, enabling a full machine-learning stack in flight. Here’s why and how we're doing this.

Nvidia DeepStream + YOLO + H265 through RTSP
Object detection running in real-time on a drone flying 500ft away. Edge AI in the sky
Time for millions of US made drones. Let’s go Flyby Robotics! @JHL_Express We’re in the fight to win it. 🇺🇸💪
Thank you @AshleyRindsberg to help sound the alarm on the dire need to expand the U.S. drone industrial base 🫡
NEW IN PIRATE WIRES: Drone Wars (We’re Losing) how the u.s. fell dangerously behind china on drones — and what that means for the future of warfare Latest from @AshleyRindsberg Just a few weeks ago, Israel initiated its war against Iran by launching a drone attack to take out…
The drone arms race is as important as the nuclear arms race, except there are no diminishing returns to better and better drones - so the drone arms race continues forever.
We better figure out how to build drones at scale fast or we are doomed to be a vassal state, as you posted
Be the FedEx sci-fi dudes think you will be
I love how this is just it’s own genre of image
Good morning waking up from America’s birthday here is a post for the vibessss

Errr what’s the big deal with DJI dominating all drone manufacturing… Fast forward to 80KG/170 LBS payload quad bombers coming at u with full autonomy sensor suite manufactured in the tens of thousands Also dji is using heavy metal music in promos now. Let u know u’re cooked.
Chinese drone maker DJI has introduced a heavy coaxial quadcopter with an 80 kg lift capacity. In comparison the Ukrainian “Vampire” hexacopter lifts 15 kg. Among the characteristics are 62 inch blades, a 30 meter winch line, millimeter wave radar, and machine learning guidance.
The sickest drone made in U.S. is about to get the sickest dashboard
sir have you seen grafana? also here’s a sneak peak at the dashboard I’m working on:
If you're a founder looking to start a hard tech company, @mpalank101 genuinely feels strongly about hardware when others were afraid to invest in non-SaaS. If you're building something new, want to work with a hard tech originalist, and would like an intro, DM me.
We're back at @MaCVentureCap with our latest State of Tech + Culture Report, "A Return to Hard Tech", where we hone in on the movement back to Silicon Valley's roots in hard tech, a space where MaC has been investing extensively for the last several years macventurecapital.com/insight/the-st…
When you have had such a wild Saturday night flying on a USMC range but you can’t tweet about it 😭

When the drone looks so stable it looks AI generated. This is a real video I just took today. (Btw we don’t rely on vision positioning to achieve this so works at night too)
