I found myself getting angry over this story. It seems obvious that, whether this Quebec fisherman drifted 200 feet into the U.S. or not (as the U.S. Coastguard alleges), his arrest was unwarranted and overzealous. To me, it is a reflection of the impunity with which U.S. law…
