We made use of it this week on our last visit for a while (our son has now graduated with his PhD and is in America). We got our Bonehead discount and our glass of sparkling wine at Opheem. Has saved us a lot over the years and directed us to the independents. Good work.
The legends who own indie Irish bar and live music venue Nortons have announced they're taking over The Anchor (which closed in June) and will re-open the pub this August. Expect a regular programme of live music, regional ales/beers, live sports and more. All hail The Anchor!
