25 July 2009. Henry Patch died (aged 111). He was the last surviving combat soldier of the First World War from any country and he became widely known as: “The Last Fighting Tommy.”
When doing some chair-making research we stumbled into this incredible advert for a vertical modular sofa designed by Verner Panton in the 1960s. Does anyone know if these were actually made? We're looking to refurb the office and think these will really improve the feng shui.
