We used 7# of apples (before coring and chopping), 2 c sugar, 1 T cinnamon, 1/2 t nutmeg, 1/4 t cloves. Instant pot on manual for 90 min., puree with a stick blender, then slow cook on high for 3 hours (with the lid open). Add ~1t, each, vanilla & molasses at the end.

I saw a recent post about Joy of Cooking and thought I'd share my cookbook shelf. My copy was printed in 1975. Several of these others are souvenirs from trips. At least half have sticky notes tucked inside to keep track of much loved recipes. You can just make things with love.
Prayers for the repose of the soul of a dear, sweet friend. He always loved the flowers in our yard and brought us plants and little gifts. He was a fixture at our house during the holidays, and I'll miss his nervous sort of laugh and kind heart.

Exactly. Public schools failed my kids and I'm thankful I pulled them sooner rather than later. This was, allegedly, one of the best elementary schools in my district, which is one of the 'best' districts in my state, which is top 10% in the country.
Great article @thesamsorbo!!! #homeschooling families dont need the govt overseeing their child's education. My family gave the govt the opportunity to provide a taxpayer funded education, they failed. They had their shot & blew it. We took matters into our own hands. Keep out!
