Going to call this one done so I can move on mentally and work on something else, but I think with the help of @rickyframes and @iAnimate, I feel like this turned out pretty well. I learned a lot from making this. Thanks to @ikhandle and my friends for giving feedback as well!

Working on a new hand "macro control" for our rigs. Basically designing a new way to pose the whole hand with a single bone. This is not animated or mocapped. It's based solely on the transforms of the controller. #b3d #animation #3dcharacter #rigging
I created a script for Maya that significantly speeds up and simplifies the animation adjustment. It is a huge time saver and replaces hours of routine work with just a few clicks done in seconds. The tests went well, so I think the beta is ready to be revealed. Here is a 🧵

My experience with building game engine friendly face rigs has been an ever decreasing joint count. Here's my latest minimal face rig, 32 joints and 4 max influences. It's using my new face GUI workflow so it can hit core expression really quickly
