Absolutely hated this novel--and now I am suspicious of everyone who has told me it is some sort of "masterpiece"
the most interesting thing about this is that all these companies were spending billions to make AI a thing and so far all it's done is help to eliminate the cash cow that made all the research possible in the first place. Engineers engineered themselves out of a business model

why you should write every day, or at least as close to every day as possible
the reason lists like this cause such a stir is because everyone knows that it is dishonest. Parasite is only considered the best film of the 21st century if you are being dishonest or using some metric other than artistic merit to say so (politics)--it's so dishonest

the reason movies and tv suck right now is because everyone involved in making them thinks moonlight, get out, parasite, etc are "the best movies of the 21st century"--like moonlight? really? did you watch it?
