Goldie’s Sis (Liberty) is the first horse I have rescued. This was the turning point that made me realize she’s no longer the rescue mare, she’s just a part of the family. Added bonus points if you can tell which one is the quarter horse from all the TB’s 😂

My main man loves Liberty (Goldie’s Sis) ❤️. He will share his stall, fan, Whinny Water, and hay in exchange for resting his head on her to nap. She is just what my boys needed. Rescuing her was an honor.
It is pathetic how you continue to push your LA bred program but you do nothing to help the countless LA bred and raced thoroughbreds that end up at feedlots on a continual basis. Fix the first problem before you create a second one.
Unconscionable. Truly. Why isn’t @OBSSales addressing these serious and fact based welfare concerns? Maybe breeders should boycott OBS, as a stance of solidarity for these horses.
It is unconscionable that thoroughbreds continue to be sent to Puerto Rico to be raced and run in to the ground. We have flown 3 thoroughbreds back from PR over the years which is incredibly expensive. If we would not have rescued them they would have been euthanized.

All the horses bought @OBSSales recently. Sickening to think of the fate waiting for these poor babies. @OBSSales needs to take some accountability here.

I hope you’ll join me in asking @OBSSales to reconsider their role as the primary supplier of horses to Puerto Rico. Fact: In 2024, 50.5% of the horses euthanized were just 3 and 4 years old — many of them sourced through OBS.
