A person with measles visited Boston. We're working with local partners to notify those who may have been exposed to measles. Unvaccinated individuals who have been exposed should contact their healthcare provider immediately. Learn more at boston.gov/measles.


Boston EMS transported a total of 4 patients to local hospitals from the scene on Harrison Ave. 2 patients were taken by ALS (Advanced Life Support) ambulances. 2 patients were taken by BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulances. 2 additional parties were evaluated on scene.
This morning, our environmental health team conducted an air quality sweep of the Orchard Garden area & surrounding blocks. Air quality has returned to normal with no odors or particulate matter present. It's now safe for neighbors to open windows & switch HVAC systems back on.

Approximately 150 Firefighters continue to battle the 8 alarm fire on Gerard st. Roxbury. We remind the neighbors in the area to keep their doors and windows closed to keep the smoke out and avoid the area .
