Werner Herzog is a better documentarian than he was ever a great filmmaker, but at making documentaries he’s the greatest of all time.
As much as I love David Lynch, Twin Peaks S2 is one of the worst things I have had to sit through. It recovers at the end, I guess the issue was that Lynch was not actually involved for most of it. By why on earth would we want more of that?
