Can it be true that @on_lothianbuses owned by @Edinburgh_CC controlled by @UKLabour / @ScottishLabour with @Keir_Starmer & @AnasSarwar at their helm do NOT buy their buses from a highly reputable Scottish bus manufacturer? If true letβs all call them out.
The mass starvation and killing in Gaza is a stain on our humanity. It must stop now. There must be a massive increase in aid, an urgent ceasefire, and recognition of the State of Palestine as part of a viable two-state solution.

Beth Upton deserved anonymity. The abuse poured on her is disgusting.
My last word on 'Waterlie'. The UK Government know that we rely on our good reputation on water for our whisky industry and tourism but are still quite happy to lie about our water quality to talk down Scotland and oppose nationalisation in England. thenational.scot/politics/25333β¦
It's an indictment on the state of humankind that when people post pleading with the world's powers to stop children from being starved and killed, somehow it can provoke not only controversy but opposition. Our future generations have every right to condemn us for this failure.
The apathy being shown towards footage of children dying and people starving is heartbreaking and should transcend any ideology. There are people in power who could surely stop this. This is all. (2/2)

As we mark the 30th anniversary of the genocide at Srebrenica Iβm reminded of the first-hand accounts we heard when visiting last year with @BeyondSreb. They will never leave me. So very proud to be asked to light a candle at the memorial in St Paulβs last month.
Still in a state of shock how little attention this story has received.
A truly chilling story. Guardian reporting that the Israeli Defence minister has asked IDF to draw up plans to move 600,000 Palestinians to a camp on the ruins of Rafah, something he calls a βhumanitarian city.β Once in, they wouldnβt be allowed to leave. theguardian.com/world/2025/julβ¦
The Forth Bridge is iconic and as Culture Secretary I helped mark the successful accreditation 10 years ago of the Forth Rail Bridge from UNESCO as a World Heritage Site
Back in 2015 @FionaHyslop marked the occasion when the #ForthBridge became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today we celebrate the 10th anniversary of that heritage status π₯³ @NetworkRailSCOT | @TheForthBridges
