I wager India will be at 1.1-1.2 billion by century’s end, and Pakistan at under 400 mil. Nigeria will have disintegrated by then. China seems accurate.
The UN projects that by 2100, Pakistan will have almost as many people as China.
Maybe this is why downwardly mobile overeducated scions of upper-middle-class families love dysfunctional city governments. Maybe they dream of resetting the cycle of bohemia and gentrification.

I would respect the nativist view more if it were actually a symptom of real issues (eg unemployment, ghettoization, housing prices, etc), but if the nativists are going to complain when immigration is virtually nonexistent, we have no incentive to work with them.
