My new article, "On the Road to War" is online! You can find a link to my blog in my bio.

I’d argue Lee was operationally masterful, but that his tactical record was mixed. I’d also say that Lee never really accepted or understood modern war, while Grant was far quicker in grasping the implications.
Robert E. Lee was a master of maneuver, engineering, and tactics. Grant was a sledgehammer, an excellent strategist, but not a great tactician. I'd still argue Lee was better.
Thank god nobody listened, liberating Kuwait was our most successful war since 1945.
Well this ended up being bigger than expected.

It is very weird to me that in lib-left electoral circles everyone treats the Arab population of Michigan as being this ultracritical bloc of votes. There is no other state where 2% of the electorate is put on this high a pedestal. Just argue for the merits of the foreign policy!
I think a born and raised Michigan doctor running a campaign on kitchen table economics issues, fighting corruption and big corporations, and a foreign policy that can win back the state’s large disaffected Arab American population is a pretty great fit for Michigan
It would seem to me that not enough is being done to extricate the US from China, or to protect her citizens from CCP spies, in the digital sphere.
> Congressman asks if Microsoft follows the “national security law” in China > Microsoft says they don’t have to follow that law > Look closely at the law >> Law requires you lie about your collusion with the communist party
Somehow the UK’s solution to stifling regulation is more central planning…
🚨 NEW: The Government is set to roll out "hospitality zones" across the UK to allow pubs and clubs to open in empty shops and operate with longer opening hours and alfresco dining
Here’s what Solzhenitsyn said about Angela Davis

India was richer per capita than China until the late 1980s. Better, growth-oriented, governance could have made India the economic superpower of the 21st century.
She alludes to “200 years of looting” and asks what happened to it, and why aren’t Whites richer. This is a common trope, but is, imo, very harmful to India. India is not poor now because of low growth under the Raj. India is poor because of Indian policies.

It was said that Kruschev invited his mother to his dacha. His mother, seeing its lavish appointment, told her son, horrified: “But Niki, what if the Bolsheviks find out?”

Absolute comedy that Japan has come out and denied *every* single part of the Truth Social Trade Deal. Just a complete circus.
After the Myanmar Civil War, this is the second instance of widespread drone usage in the Asia-Pacific. Something to keep an eye on.
#Thailand / #Cambodia 🇹🇭🇰🇭: "Royal Thai Army" struck Cambodian Army positions and destroyed weapons depots as a result of Drone Strikes. Thai Army used domestic "Bombing Drones" (โดรนโจมตีทิ้งระเบิด) carrying M261 and M472 mortar bombs along with Improvised Air-Dropped Bombs.
South Korea's shocking population pyramid shows that demographic collapse is well underway. An added headwind in Korea (and China, too) is that there are a lot fewer women than men in the crucial 25-35 age range, the result of sex-selective abortions a generation ago.
Here's the female side of the South Korean age pyramid, in dark blue, overlaid on the male side. For the 25-35 age group, there are approximately 115 men for every 100 women.
This is wildly inappropriate for a US government official to say. France is a NATO ally.
Macron's unilateral "declaration" of a "Palestinian" state didn't say WHERE it would be. I can now exclusively disclose that France will offer the French Riviera & the new nation will be called "Franc-en-Stine." thehill.com/policy/interna…
