Not only the largest and most peaceful protest in Canadian history, but one in which nearly all of its participants, including its ostensible 'leadership', co-operated with the police.
"There has never been a protest in which the protesters worked with the authorities to reduce the [protest's] impact," Lawrence Greenspon adds, arguing that Tamara Lich's cooperation with police with respect to the Freedom Convoy protest amounts to a "mitigating factor".

Only in a country consumed by ideological hate for its own citizens could rhetoric as described below be cited as legitimate consideration for a criminal verdict.
Words Lich said, quoted by the judge in the decision that found her to be a criminal: “be strong”; “do not give into fear and threats”; “show kindness”; “love will defeat hate”. The judge literally used these words against her to find her guilty of mischief. Can’t make this up.
