#OTD 29 years ago, Joe Carter became the first Blue Jays player to homer into the fifth deck at SkyDome when he deposited a pitch from Oakland A's righty John Wasdin up there in the fifth inning. It was a three-run shot that was measured at 483 feet. The Blue Jays won 6-4.

🏆 Congratulations to great Melville Millionaires alumni Chris Kunitz on his induction tonight to the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame. The four-time Stanley Cup champ and Olympic Gold Medalist played in the SJHL for the Mils between 1997 and 1999 in over 120 games!

I went to @EmilyCarrUwith Mike Mok. He illustrated and designed the @Canucks 1996-97 season tickets. They're my fave tickets the Canucks ever produced. I still love the quirky, fun look and style! Very different and unique direction.

Back in the 90s, I was a designer on the Vancouver Canucks Magazine & Game Day Programs. Bruce Darby was the original Art Directer / Chris Dahl was the original Creative Director. John Belisle & I co-designed the "Player Action Feature" pages for the upcoming 97-98 hockey season.
