This morning, Judge Anthony Trenga in the Eastern District of Virginia set a trial date for Mohammad Sharifullah, the suspect accused of planning the Abbey Gate bombing in 2021. Sharifullah will stand trial beginning Monday, December 8, 2025 in federal court in Alexandria.
Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s attorneys are asking a federal judge in Tennessee to order the Trump administration to stop making extrajudicial statements about Abrego, to ensure he can be afforded a fair trial in the Middle District of Tennessee, where he is facing smuggling charges.
