Founded in 1979, the GRASP Laboratory is an interdisciplinary academic and research center, and premiere robotics incubator within Penn Engineering.

In June, Penn Engineering hosted the Xplorlabs Educator Fellowship Summit. Teachers explored safety science via workshops on sprinklers, burn scenes & Li-ion fires and heard talks by Chris Callison-Burch & @robertghrist.
Penn engineers & @WeitzmanSchool designers led by @ShuYangPenn & Masoud Akbarzadeh have developed a 3D-printed concrete solution based on diatomaceous earth (DE) that enhances carbon capture, is more resilient and uses fewer materials like cement.
