On 12 July, the Red Cross Field Hospital in Rafah received 132 patients suffering from weapon-related injuries. This situation is unacceptable. The alarming frequency and scale of these mass casualty incidents underscore the horrific conditions civilians in Gaza are enduring.
Worldwide, parties to armed conflicts have damaged critical healthcare infrastructure. In some cases, they have also killed or held captive patients and healthcare workers. This leaves millions of people in armed conflict areas without a choice. #IHL

It has been more than 600 days since hostages were taken from Israel. Their endless nightmare and suffering in captivity must stop. They must be reunited with their anxiously awaiting family members or brought home for a dignified burial.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza is beyond catastrophic. Six hundred days of hostilities, coupled with severe restrictions on the entry and distribution of humanitarian relief, continue to inflict immense and widespread suffering on civilians. icrc.org/en/news-releas…
