Our team was in Yambio, Western Equatoria State. Together with @SSRCS , we provided dry food rations and essential households items to 720 displaced people who fled Nadiengere and Sue following hostilities in the area. #SouthSudan

The ICRC and senior leadership of SSPDF exchanged views about challenges of application of IHL and discussed ways & good practices to ensure that civilians & persons no longer taking part in hostilities as well as critical civilian infrastructure are protected in wartime. #SSoT

We are concerned by the recent armed attack on Morobo County Hospital in Central Equatoria State, #SouthSudan. The attackers looted medical supplies, robbed the medical staff, and burnt two ambulances. THIS IS WRONG. Hospitals and healthcare workers, MUST be protected. #SSoT
