After we lost Leo, @criminographer was our first lifeline. Her son Alexander and Leo were close in age when they died. We mourn the loss of her daughter Isabelle by the same genetic condition as Alexander. Consider helping her family to gain some breathing room. 🙏

V for voyage. As Christmas comes and the New Year, I remember that we’re all on a voyage. My eyes are wide open now to every day of the voyage. Every day counts - we learn, we work, we live, we connect to others, but most importantly we don’t postpone. #lifeafterloss
V is for voyage. After Alexander died, I promised him that I'd stop making excuses about things I wanted to do. So I booked a trip to Australia for him. Isabelle was the dream travel companion.She loved it.I'm so glad I didn't know what was to come & just savoured every second.💕

Whole genome sequencing providing answers in sudden death cases. It motivates me as a scientist to continue to discover protein pathways. As a bereaved mum, I know the trauma. It’s important to witness, to never forget, to live for those we lost. #Alexander 💙
