Not a real reporter but I do alright. undefeated Drunken Twitterer. Read my missives at A Fan’s Guide To Boxing.
I’m starting to think that Conor McGregor fella might be doing cocaine.
I love the hate these posts get in light of nearly everyone in US sports taking money from genocidal maniacs who are wiping out minority groups people never cared about. “Nah bro, do you support the Palestinians or not?”. MBS executed the head of the tribe that built SA and had…
"Since October 7, I have been to Gaza four times embedded with the Israel Defense Forces. I have interviewed the Prime Minister of Israel, the Defense Minister, the IDF Chief of Staff, Southern Command leadership, and dozens of commanders and soldiers on the front lines. I have…
The worst fight announcer in the history of combat sports. Just another example of the UFC trying to make themselves bigger than the fighters. Him jumping around and screaming on everything.
It's called a Buffer Overflow exploit because the exploit was created by Bruce Buffer in 2009
Shocking, the same pundits taking Saudi money and crying about the end of boxing also shit on Deontay. A man who has a statue in Alabama.
Me whenever someone asks grok a question under my post
Lul. This is the typical grifter that has flooded Texas thinking they “understand” what Texas is about. Dudes that loved partying with the family protecting pedophiles.
If the Trump administration decided to ask me to become the Director of the ATF, I would gladly accept and help make America great again 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Remember when people were losing their minds over “Turki’s promos” and now he’s just using some trash AI cartoon program for every post? Nah UBO’s totally will save boxing.

There are people that try to argue the Soprano’s is HBO’s best show. Go compare the writing on those first 3 years of Soprano’s to The Wire or Deadwood. Soprano’s in the first season has Two made men trying to track down a stolen car for THREE episodes.
I love that the dude writing a book about Bret Hart who is frequently on video saying “Fuck Hulk Hogan” is the dude trying to remind everyone that wrestling likely wouldn’t exist if not for Hulk Hogan. When did people lose the ability to hold multiple ideas in their minds?
One thing I've noticed with the passing of Hulk Hogan is a generational divide. I'm not sure anyone under 40 understands how big a star he was from 1985-1988 and how recognizable he was to the general public. A household celebrity in a way very few athletes are today.
I learned one thing, don’t rile up Lefty. Montero took a shot at him and Lefty dug up his “Off the boat pussy” and “Blacks are known to be inferior” posts and Montero got kicked out of the BWAA! They don’t kick out anyone.
🤣🤣 oh he big mad now. Don't get mad at me cuz boxing your whole life & you got no personality & no hoes. I bet you a dog in the ring. All that built up testosterone from not fuckin bitches 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What amuses me about #boxing is that you will get pundits who say, “Oh these are the problems… “ and they never bring on anyone to ask them why the “problems” aren’t being addressed. I mean, the number of writers who shit on sanctioning bodies and then attend the dinners…
This was also an argument raised by both the defense and plaintiffs in the UFC case. And usually by the defense jerkoffs, “If they were running an unfair scheme why would they pay the fighters this much?” I don’t know, maybe read 150 years of antitrust law?
As any goof that follows antitrust suits, the pattern is routinely the people who start an antitrust scheme will overpay market wages in order to get control of the market, then they will enact their scheme to reduce prices when there is no longer alternatives. That’s the Saudis
Just hilarious that Big Elvis has outlasted Zac Brown, Katy Perry, J-Lo and many others.
The Bankruptcy Bulb is bankrupting Zac Brown, whomever that might be. pagesix.com/2025/07/26/ent…
Mazulli endorsing the proposal without consulting the Athletes. The ABC says they limit Presidents to two consecutive terms of two years, Mazulli stated he wouldn’t seek reelection after… 10 years as the head. He will just go back to the Mohegan Sun, who the Fertitta’s represent
Interviewed at length by @TrisDixon for this @boxingscene article about the Ali Destruction Act. boxingscene.com/articles/its-g…
Fertitta’s also didn’t start opposing the Ali Act amendments until 2007 when they got tribal business. They were already dying in committee before that. And it’s a lot easier to convince someone to not hear something in committee than to push something through a committee.
But again, in the end, it’s actually getting this whole “Let’s Bury John McCain Act” heard. Because Congress has a lot of guys paying the bills to get their laws heard and in that game, Endeavor are small fish. Fertitta’s were smart enough to pay local or states with tribes.
Now, if the UFC was able to get Ted Cruz to sponsor the bill in the Senate like @erikmagraken seemed to suggest, that would be interesting. Because he heads the Senate Commerce Committee. Getting the two scrubs in the House isn’t impressive.
Ali with his victories against Liston, comeback against Frazier, his fight against Foreman; was not broadcast live on TV. They were closed circuit fights. You had to haul your ass to a hockey rink and pay the same price as today to watch a 240p visual that usually wasn’t in sync…
Top Rank showed on their “perhaps” last broadcast the very same problem they always had, naming other fighters while trying to push their guys. That’s boxing nerd mentality. Sell your product, why bother talking about Fundora or Tszyu? They did this constantly.

But you’ll still see pundits talk as if these things are based on merit. If WWE RAW was a Netflix show, they would have killed it already. Paying $500m a year for 2.6m viewers? No, they play nice to get better deals from Endeavor for the rest of the schlock. That’s what is going…

But as an aside, how are all the “But Showtime Boxing killed the network” jerkoffs looking now? With Sheri selling out everything to capitulate to Trump and get paid? Oh yeah, it was boxing behind it all. DAMN THEM!
This is why boxers should never agree to arbitration or for their disputes to be heard by a state commission. In a contract you can surrender a lot of rights unknowingly. But a lot of boxers have bum managers who don’t know law either. Promoters know they’re dealing with kids.
The Private Right of Action which was granted to boxers on the Federal level with the Ali Act Amendment is extremely powerful. It means fighters do not have to prove they have the right to sue and their case to be heard. Sounds simple but it is not.
