I'll stick with the Council of Quiercy: "There is not, never has been, and never will be a single human being for whom Christ did not suffer."

Are the Gospels apostolic teaching? Because they assert Mary did other things, such as visit Elizabeth, say the Magnificat, present Jesus in the temple, intervene at Cana, stand beside the cross, etc. Does @IndianaBrunner not believe in these things?
The apostles taught absolutely nothing about Mary other than that she was a virgin who bore Christ by the power of the Spirit. No dogmas. No doctrines. No calls for devotion. She was one obedient servant in a long line of others whom God had chosen.
