virtually unknown comics resurfacing: bill watterson (calvin and hobbes) drew this in 2015:
you don't realize how violent finger guns are until you find yourself constantly, out of habit, pointing them at a baby.
POV: i am in 'the new yorker' but it's 1932:
rewind back: 'new yorker' owen but it's 1951:
when i first started as a cashier, i had a person get furious at me. kind of rattled me. guy i was working with said, “its not you. if you interact with 600 people in a row and its normal 599 times, its them”. true. so thats when i started intentionally enraging 1 customer a day.
you think people have gone too far in being oversensitive about terms, then i look at an educational document from the early 1900s today where teachers are referring to their students as “dummlings”, a slightly folkloric and germanic way of saying “dumblings”.
you can just redraw a picture i drew and get 80k likes in a day on here very cool (not being sarcastic, great sign)
Does anybody have that one Image that looks like this? I can't find it
