As Gavin Newsom continues to create an entirely new version of himself, he continues to have that new version rejected by all of his prior versions. It’s almost like he hates the Gavin Newsom of our recent past as much as Californians do
California will fight for fair and safe elections. Our redistricting process is designed so that politicians don’t make final decisions - and that's the way it should be. Voters should pick their representatives - not the other way around. nbcnews.com/think/opinion/…
I finally got to see the new Walt Disney animatronic show @Disneyland — it is in the same theater as Great Moments with Abraham Lincoln). It was fantastic!

I’m really tired of people attacking conservatives with our own views. It’s like I’m not entitled to say what I believe in and have to agree to everything that they believe in there needs to be action taken against this type of rhetoric from the left.
The irony is that the flawed process of California Redistricting Commission has already basically written a fabulous set of House lines for Democrats. The GOP only holds 9 of 52 seats.
Will California's NPR and PBS stations survive now that Trump signed cuts to public media funding? Station leaders say yes, but cost-saving changes, like staff and programming cuts, are inevitable. Local shows, the priciest to produce, are most at risk calmatters.org/politics/2025/…

This public employee union is full of crap. They spend a lot of their money and their political capital, looking for ways to raise taxes, increase fees, and drive new money into government to hire more public workers and pay them above market wages. The losers are the taxpayers.…
Fact: Unions help ALL workers, whether they’re part of a union or not. More unions means higher wages for everyone.
I can’t be anymore clear. If anyone touches our agents or gets in our way, you will be arrested and charged with a federal crime.
NEW: US Attorney @USAttyEssayli joined me to discuss his decision to arrest two SoCal medical workers on federal charges of interfering w/ ICE. “The politicians in California have emboldened people to stand up to ICE, they think it’s okay to interfere or obstruct,” Essayli said.…
"Voters will reject Gavin's Partisan Power Grab...if the courts don't do it first." Read our full statement on Gavin Newsom's announcement.
To quote @markzbarabak from the @latimes - @GavinNewsom is “all hat and no cattle” on this restricting nonsense.
If we ban all cars, Governor, it will save lives.
Strong gun safety laws save lives — and today’s decision is a slap in the face to the recent progress we've made to protect Californians from the horror of gun violence. Californians voted to require background checks on ammunition. Their voices should matter.

“President Biden and Democrats gave tax subsidies for electric cars to the wealthy. President Trump & Republicans gave tax cuts to electricians.” Every Republican should watch this clip of @RepJasonSmith going on offense & listing every tax cut every Democrat just voted against.
My ten cents (180 seconds) on @GavinNewsom’s crazy idea to get voters to amend the state constitution for the purposes of allowing partisan gerrymandering of house lines. youtu.be/KhR6r-CpRHA?si…
Update: California Legislature continues to violate state open records laws as construction continues on their new office building behind the capitol. They continue to withhold key information on the project that could cost more than an NFL stadium. kcra.com/article/califo…
We have about 2000 in San Diego… that’s not a typo, TWO THOUSAND nonprofits dedicated to ending “people experiencing homelessness”. 40% of the money goes to salaries. Conservatively, San Diego has $500M per year going to nonprofit salaries alone. Crazy to think about…
200 homeless non-profits in San Francisco. That means a lot of duplicative overhead and a lot of people looking for clients.
