This pain can hit you at any time, totally unexpectedly like you just experienced. Isabelle has left a gaping hole in your soul next to Alexander. Sending you much love.
I saw one of your gymnastics buddies today with her Mum.The layers of grief that come with these unseen, quiet daggers that you can't vocalise to anyone in those moments💔. You just have to carry on pushing the pram to school;get in the car to work. I miss you x #grief #childloss
The terror that unfolded on that island is unspeakable. Human beings should not inflict such horror onto others. I will listen to the song. 🌹
Bob Chilcott wrote a choral piece of music called Remember Me and is devastatingly beautiful and I have sung it myself. It was awful what happened and the victims should be remembered. youtu.be/Jwq2DBET7Is?si…
Before this day ends I remember the people who died & were injured & traumatised during the terror attack on the island of Utoya in Norway in 2011. My heart is with the 77 bereaved families, the injured & traumatised people. Every year on this day the trauma replays over & over.
Unpacking Martyn’s Law: a roadmap to safety and security for schools schoolsweek.co.uk/unpacking-mart… Excellent article introducing #MartynsLaw into schools. Threshold should be 200to799 for standard tier and 800+ for enhanced tier. ProtectUK website offers free ACT training.
On Saturday, I was lucky enough to appear on an upcoming episode of the podcast run by the inspirational @GracieNuttall41, Callum @deadsibsociety. F enjoyed it, too! I'm forever grateful he has such a great support network of other grieving siblings. #grief #childloss
Before the day ends I want to remember the 90 people who were killed by a car bomb in Afghanistan in 2014. My heart is with the bereaved, the injured & everyone traumatised. The memories of that day will have been very painful today. 🥀
hstoday.us/subject-matter… This is an article well worth a read highlighting the issue of youth radicalisation. Parents should read this.
Today in 2016 on Bastille Day in Nice a terrorist killed 86 people and injured hundreds using a truck during a terrorist attack. The bereaved, injured & everyone traumatised are in my heart today. 🥀
Just imagine how different the world would be if instead of seeking retaliation or power every human being did one random act of kindness daily instead. Martin Kornfeld felt it would set the world in the right direction.
I’m increasingly believing that the most radical political position today is that of kindness and empathy. It’s in short supply.
Here you are again. This is totally cruel to write such hurtful stuff!
Check their vaccine status card..that should shed some light
Yesterday I attended this brilliant event in Manchester, meeting MP's, local politicians & local industry representatives. It was great to be invited & I had interesting conversations about #Martyn'sLaw being of interest in Europe. @DanJarvisMBE @YvetteCooperMP

Today in 1995 was the start of a week of the systematic killing of 8372 Bosniak muslim men & young boys in Srebrenica. What happened there will always be a crime against humanity & we must never forget! Today my heart is with all the bereaved families.
Town's park gates must be changed due to new law - Yahoo - goo.gl/alerts/Js9uvd This is great news! I love it when some people just put sensible measure in place to protect people instead of complaining about costs. Thank you, @TrowbridgeCouncil for looking after people.
Support Hub launched for victims and survivors of terrorism counterterrorbusiness.com/news/08072025/… Thank you to @DanJarvisMBE for supporting this and working with us to get this done and to @PoolReinsurance for partnering up and genuinely caring for victims of terror. This is much needed!
SJUK Leaders in Security 2025: The Next Generation of Security Leaders youtu.be/c4Zz3N8aBEA?si… via @YouTube These young people will have a brilliant career in the security sector and will totally be in leadership roles. They are so in tune with what the industry needs.
Each year at those milestones such as Christmas, birthdays, Mother's Day etc bring that pain right back to the time you lost her. It somehow never goes away. So sorry for your loss and sending much love your way. And you are right about Emily, she speaks to many of us.
Oh Emily, bless you. You said it so well. My daughter has been gone 25 years. Tomorrow is her birthday and I’m grieving hard today. I feel your pain and will pray for you instead of feeling so sorry for myself. God bless you. Thank you for sharing, you speak to many.
Check out this article: Focus on a Security Manager: Georgia Copeland - citysecuritymagazine.com/security-caree… It just goes to show how brilliant Georgia is and how she worked her way up from leaving university & having a fabulous job in the security sector. She will continue to shine!
It was a great day and I learnt so much about crime. A real eye opener. And it was an absolute honour to be asked to speak at that event.
A privilege to hear @FigenMurray speaking today at a preventing crime partnerships conference. Amazing personal drive to make it safer for people at event venues. Only hope @ukhomeoffice produces guidance asap so Martyn’s Law can be implemented without delay. @selectamark
Today, we mark 20 years since the 7/7 attacks. We remember the 52 people who lost their lives and pay tribute to all the NHS staff and emergency services who provided care to those injured and affected. 🎨 @allontheboard
Today, we honour those who lost their lives on 7th July, 20 years ago, and pay tribute to the responders who ran towards danger. We stood together then. We stand together now.
