I have the hardest time not being pretentious when people are like “Oh, you like tea? What kind? I like mint and camomile tea.” or something. I want to respond “Oh, I prefer real tea.” so badly but that would be rude 😩

I was always put off by gothic/ Victorian literature when I was younger bc I thought it would be scary + sad. Through yours+others recommendations, I have decided to give the Brontës a try and am reading along with your Storytime for Grownups season of Jane Eyre. Im enjoying it!
I believe that “grey” is a soft, dove grey and “gray” is a kind of slate, thundercloud gray and I also will not be taking any questions.
“grey” is a better spelling than “gray” because e is a greyer letter than a. i will not elaborate
