Earlier today, qualified @FDNY EMS members provided CPR training at DOB's Manhattan office. This training is offered to all DOB inspectors and administrative employees to equip staff with the basic skills needed to take action in the event of a cardiac arrest emergency.
Early CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator, known as AED, have shown to dramatically increase the chance of survival in victims who experience sudden cardiac arrest. Thank you @FDNY for provided your expertise and potentially life-saving services today.
