As the weather clears up for the summer, we're trying to do the same for our streets by helping to clear out neglected sidewalk sheds! Follow along on our journey. We’re already 374 long standing sheds down! #GetShedsDown #Summer

On hot days like today, there's nothing like taking a break at one of our Cooling Centers. We're keeping them open today and tomorrow, and you can find one near you on our map here: on.nyc.gov/coolingcenters

ADUs are one of the ways we're working with homeowners to solve the housing shortage in our city AND put some money back in their pockets. It's all part of our "City of Yes" vision and how we're saying "YES" to a little more housing in every neighborhood: crainsnewyork.com/real-estate/ne…
Concerned about potentially Illegal or unsafe construction work happening in your neighborhood? DOB wants to know about it. You can file an anonymous complaint through @nyc311 and we will send a trained inspector to the scene to properly investigate the issue.

The @NYCBuildings team has focused on construction site safety, and they've nailed it. The first six months of 2025 had the lowest number of recorded injuries on construction sites in New York City history! We'll keep pushing so every job is safe for every worker.
See a suspicious Site Safety Training Card? DOB's standard Training Connect Site Safety Training (SST) ID cards, for construction professionals working on larger projects, possess new technology that drastically reduces the likelihood of fraud 🦸♂️
