The recent flash floods have severely impacted multiple provinces. In Wardak alone, over 50 canals & 885 hectares of farmland have been damaged, affecting more than 18 200 people. @FAO continues to assess these impacts and is planning urgent recovery support with partners.

@FAOAsiaPacific with Singapore’s @nparksbuzz & @CefasGovUK launched a 5-day hands-on training to enhance laboratory capacities for AMR surveillance of bacterial pathogens in aquatic animals. This @EU_FPI co-funded training trains lab personnel from 12 countries in the region.
