So sad to hear the news of Ozzy Osbourne. I'm stopping everything today to grieve the loss of the greatest rock legend ever. Glad he was able to have that final farewell show and go out as the crazy prince on the throne, just as I remember (pic from 2001).
Why did we start treating barbarians like they're dumb? Conan walked out of the wild sharper than most kings. He was cunning, ruthless, and nobody’s fool. Strength didn’t make him stupid. That idea seems to have come later with comics, RPGs, and lazy pop culture.

I’m not one of these “everything was better back in my day” people. But I cannot properly describe how much different the 80s were than what we have today. It was fun and happy and patriotic and ridiculous and over the top. It was wonderful. And Hulk Hogan was a big part of it.

RIP to the Father of the Elder Scrolls, Julian Lefay. Julian played a pivotal role creating the early Elder Scrolls games. Without him, gaming would be very different today.
So much of DOOM’s soul is down to heavy metal, and without Ozzy and Sabbath, I am not sure it would have been the same. Certainly, I would not have been the same. Metal gave a voice to a whole generation of kids that didn’t fit in for one reason or another. It still does. RIP…
