Currently working on Levers and Chests, a dungeon crawler roguelike roguelite.
We're looking for a voxel/pixel artist for Levers and Chests. Please contact @BitshiftEnt if you're in the LA area and are interested in joining the team.
For the first time, Levers and Chests is starting to feel like a game. Still almost all of it left to do, as usual, but we seem to have been chipping away at something! We've even got stereo sound.
Kaizen: A Factory Story Final score: 2/5 There's a story and a lot of dialogue, with super easy automation puzzles in between, all set to bopping midi music. The first puzzle I found interesting at all turned out to be the final puzzle. I beat the game in less than a day.
"Today I'm going to make enemies attack the pla-" *implements a source map parser instead* whoops
I checked out the demo for EMOTIONLESS: The Last Ticket because liminal space amusement part horror sounded fun. But the Unreal Engine is making it hard to tell what's supposed to be a scary special effect and what is just a result of me daring to movie the camera.
Don't make my mistake and refer to grayscale as monochromatic. Grays and whites contain ALL the visible wavelengths, which is the opposite of just one. The term is monochrome, which I guess I thought sounded less "smart" than monochromatic. I just thor myself a new one.
Finally beat Tears of the Kingdom. Currently experiencing postpartum depression, never had this much free time before.
A Zelda walks into bar and orders "the Hylian usual", which results in some comedic misunderstanding.
Now THAT's a good Master Sword backstory! (Tears of the Kingdom. Also, I ended up LOVING exploring the Depths somehow)
guy named Pirate Software is against purchasing and owning software I mean that's consistent
Recommended: Bloodshed A vampire survivors style fps I keep coming back to for excellent shoot bang bang. I wish there were more levels though.
Hey guys, just got back to Gaming after a brief break. .. wait, why is there a nepo baby doubling down over there?
Pretty sure the Gambling decree in 9 Kings is a must-take. It turns "look at the top three cards and choose one" into "draw two cards per turn". Ie, there's a 2/3rds change you'll get the card you'd have chosen anyway, plus a bonus one. Amazing tempo.
