The beauty of democracy.
I did not vote for a party which was supporting this woman.
You obviously don’t care about facts, but one last attempt: Last year, less than 10 Europeans were killed by “domestic terrorism”, while 48,000 Americans were killed by gun violence
Keep giving that lifestyle to illegals. They are already cutting your life short with domestic terrorism.
What? Have you been to Europe lately? Our life expectancy is 5 years longer than the US. Per capita income is higher than the US for roughly 80% of the population - created by 20% fewer working hours. Our hospitals are free. Go figure ….
It's incredible how Europeans still don't understand how much they have destroyed their economy by funding illegals, increasing crime rate & killing startups. They are still fixated on orange man bad narrative & what more they can compromise to stop Trump.
I have done so for some years now. I have also checked facts on prices vs quality. It explains why the only American cars you see in Europe are Tesla (and 90% of them have now anti-Elon stickers). Personally, I know of no US car which matches any of the top-4 European brands.
Because we have been abused by Europe during decades! Just a test: Go out to the street and count the American cars you see passing by… Let me know later…
🤣🤣🤣 - and with a degree of truth to it: Why do autocrats like Trump, Putin and Xi get to decide when history began and to what time they have a right to reset the clock?
Thank you for this amazingly insightful and levelheaded reply.
Stay salty eurof@g. Cry next time you sit to pee like the limp wrists western Europeans are. You rheeheetards want the U.S. to finance your neighbours war while you cowards do the usual gay bullshit, you have to pay. Cry harder
The “great negotiator”, in the words of Von der Leyen, and a “fair one too” in the words of Trump himself. Just like the way he plays golf.
Trump working hard to bring down grocery prices
Two questions: On process, what type of deal is this after the two heads had given agreement only a 50/50 chance just hours before? On substance: Why is Europe agreeing to this?
EU, US clinch deal to avoid Trump tariff hike ahead of deadline: Agreed on 15% tariffs across the board. 15% agreement includes Autos. EU deal will not include pharma. Trump says EU to buy hundreds of billions of dollars in military gear. Trump says energy is important component…
Why are we Europeans doing this?
.@vonderleyen: "You're known as a tough negotiator and dealmaker..." @POTUS: "And fair." 😂🤣
Hear hear!
Why on earth should the European union be willing to accept, as it seems ready to do, the 15% tariff? Are we really so weak that this is the best we can hope for?
… or just to make business. US car sales folks live off commission and need to make deals. And that, in turn, raises GDP. In the US they call it superior productivity (forgetting to deduct the irritation factor for customers). In Europe we call it crazy.
Sign of the (tariff) times? The car dealership where I bought my car 4 years ago keeps texting me urging me to sell my vehicle to them… The race is on to stock up on USED vehicles.
Frankly, Hassett’s reply is a disgrace.
White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett defended Pres. Trump’s newly unveiled 50% tariff against Brazil, the United States’ second-largest trading partner, claiming the move is part of the administration’s broader tariff strategy. abcnews.link/iQumY4f
Men ellers ja. berlingske.dk/politik/de-and… #dkpol
Exactly! - and let’s call Trump for what he is, rather than the present soft version of “markrutte’ing” him
Tariffs on EU goods just announced: 30% across the board, probably higher in some sectors. Being nice, giving up the digital tax, did not achieve anything for Europe. Intelligent retaliation is of the essence, even if it leads to dangerous economic and geopolitical waters in…
Or because Trump really wants that state visit?

JP’s Dimon (@ft): “Europe has gone from 90% US GDP to 65% over 10 or 15 years. That’s not good. You’re losing.” What a misleading statement (using market FX rates). Surely he knows what he is doing. So, why not say Europe has gained 10% on US since Trump became president?
