SPACEtomo v1.3 is now available! What's new? - Lots of tools for setting up targets on non-lamella samples - Option for reacquisition of specific maps (e.g. after cleaning) - Bug fixes and more robust Give it a try and let me know what is still missing! github.com/eisfabian/SPAC…

SPACEtomo v1.2 is online! github.com/eisfabian/SPAC… - Improved GUIs for lamella detection, target selection and CLEM registration make it the best target selection workflow for PACEtomo on any kind of lamella sample. - Easier installation and configuration Any feedback welcome!

In general, if you run into any issues with PACEtomo, please don't attribute it immediately to user error! Reach out to me without any hesitation so we can figure it out together and I can either fix bugs or make the documentation clearer for everyone! Thank you! :)
I had a great time at the GRC 3DEM last week and I met a ton of amazing people! :) If you talked to me about some issues or suggestions for PACEtomo, please reach out via email again so I can keep track of everything! Thank you!
After updating SPACEtomo, I am now working on some long-needed bug fixes and quality of life improvements for PACEtomo. If you ran into any bugs (even minor ones), any annoyances or have any feature requests, please let me know! :)
Lots of updates in #SPACEtomo by @EisFabian. New target inspection/selection GUI 🖥️🗺️🥳and a video tutorial: youtube.com/watch?v=I5yvi0…
Square beams square beams square beams. The article is finally out! doi.org/10.1038/s41592… Get yourself a square aperture and make your whole-cell tiled tomograms. Congratulation team! @eydchua Michael Alink, Misha Kopylov and Jake Johnston @SEMC_NYSBC
Thrilled that after a week adapting/optimizing #SPACEtomo scripts to our microscope settings here @EmblImaging, it finally works! It's really amazing to have >150 positions set in less than 15 min, which would take me at least some hours to set manually! Thanks a lot, @EisFabian!
SPACEtomo: It allows for completely automated cryoET on lamellae without human intervention. Currently covering Yeast features and soon including other organisms. It can already take maps of all your lamellae and detect ice and cracks on any organism. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Please RT - An opportunity to spend two months next summer in Japan and experience its culture and research environment. Please check out JSPS' summer program below. We will be more than happy to host you in our lab. 🗾🗻🏯🍙👺❄️🔬🙂👍
PACEtomo beta update: Changes include settings for robust tracking on worse stages, some new target setup options, bug fixes and new bugs that you can hopefully help me find! Thanks to everyone using PACEtomo! More info here: github.com/eisfabian/PACE…
The #PACEtomo paper is now published rdcu.be/c0OxR📜🥳 Since the preprint, @EisFabian made quite a few improvements and added new scripts for tilt axis offset and sample geometry measurement.🔬🧑💻 Thanks to the reviewers for their helpful suggestions!🤓🛠️🙂👍
The revised PACEtomo paper is finally online! I'm grateful for all the people involved and for everyone who is using PACEtomo already and giving me feedback! I'll keep working on it! I'm now also the proud depositor of EMPIAR-11111! :D rdcu.be/c0Qfm
PACEtomo update: Changes include pausing/resuming of runs, shortcuts for target selection, editing of target files (GUI), automation of geometry measurement for hole patterns, and many minor things. More info: github.com/eisfabian/PACE… New video tutorials: youtube.com/playlist?list=…

Today's testing session concluded. Still found a few bugs but they are mostly minor. In fact, things are starting to run quite smoothly! I'm looking forward to sharing this update!
