Hey folks! Some friends and I have been helping Farah, a Palestinian girl, leave the country using a student visa. She now has a scholarship in France, but the embassy asks her for 8400€ to be able to leave. So we put together a fundraiser to cover this and expenses! Link below!
Teratoneus gurriei and Utahceratops gettyi I have launched a combination of tyrannosaurs and ceratopsians, hoping you will enjoy it.
I worked on these scenes!
Action looks even more dynamic than in Way of Water
Many people are marginally familiar with Pleistocene island faunas. Tiny elephants and deer, giant swans and tortoises etc. However the Late Miocene/Pliocene of Italy was also host to a unique island fauna. This is Gargano island home of the terror hedgehogs.
Here’s a test video of my Daspletosaurus puppet. It’s not fully put together but he’s almost there. I had finally fixed the jaw situation so it can close better and now that’s done I can start sewing again. #paleoart #dinosaur #daspletosaurus #puppet
I do not “make ocs”. I WRITE CHARACTERS. and if they don’t serve any purpose, THEY DON’T EXIST.
what is everyone's process while making ocs ?? because mine is character design > lore > name i HATE looking for names
No part of me wants to put a new dino movie down, it at least looks fun. But I'm sorry, they fumbled the dinosaur designs HARD and literally just copied JW In a franchise known for its art, and with a background of designs like these, the movie designs are kinda inexcusable
“This movie will finally break Jurassic World’s hegemony on dinosaurs” *look inside* >it’s more Jurassic World rip-offs And the worst part is that this isn’t the first time this has happened.
Designers and concept artists for series and movies, please delete that "Jurassic Park/World Refs" folder from your computers 🙏
When I think I'm safe on the boat with Scarlett Johansson but then I hear Ocean Man by Ween and Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace playing at the same time
Forget everything i've ever made this is my Magum Opus
Dinosaurs are the only animals ever to have people bold enough to claim they prefer them looking just totally wrong. You don’t see people being like “yeah I know reality but I just prefer this style of elephant you know? It fits with the overall theming better!”
This is such a hilarious comparison because on the left you have a unique, well thought-out and somewhat scientifically accurate creature design and on the right you have a large JP raptor with a different colour scheme.
Starting in 1935, #Mirasaura was excavated in Alsace, France by renowned private collector Louis #Grauvogel, after whom the species is named. Following the transfer of the Grauvogel collection to the @SMNStuttgart, further preparation of one fossil created a true 'wow' moment.
I am proud and grateful to present a dream project today in @Nature! nature.com/articles/s4158… Meet #Mirasaura grauvogeli, a #wonderreptilewith skin appendages that rival feathers and hairs, challenging our view of reptile #evolution🪶🦎
I cannot believe everything happened in just one day #paleoart

Please Universal, all the cool monster franchises (Godzilla, Alien, Predator) get to go in all sorts of directions with no consideration for canon. Go on. Retcon Jurassic World. Give us a Hammond prequel without the Lockwoods. Start over with only the OG being canon. Go for it!
The elaborate crest represents a new perspective in the evolution of feather-like structures in reptiles. Mirasaura was related to another bizarrely-crested reptile, Longisquama, and both appear to belong to an already very weird group: Drepanosauromorphs
