I’ve got increasing confidence of a winter storm happening in South Carolina on Tuesday, January 21st. Weather models are still in disagreement, but it’s looking like the coast is going to get hit harder than the usual spots in the Upstate. Amounts, if any, around an inch or less.

PHOTOGENIC TORNADO: Look at this photogenic tornado as it caused damage near Marion, South Carolina yesterday around 6:15pm. This tornado was likely on the ground for 5-10 minutes. You can see what is likely tree debris being lofted by the tornado!
We will be sending a survey crew out to Bamberg tomorrow to get details on the potential tornado that touched down this afternoon.
If you’re out on the roadways today , please stay safe. A tornado just landed in Bamberg County .
