Violence in Colombia’s Chocó region has left families trapped, displaced, and cut off from care. EU funds help @MdM_Colombia equip Santa Rosa’s health post in Novita, bringing vital care to those stuck between danger and distance.

In Haiti, gang violence has forced 1.3 million people to flee their homes. Cholera is flaring through overcrowded camps and a broken health system. With EU aid, @IOMHaiti helps over 50,000 people access vital hygiene and sanitation. A lifeline in a collapsing country.

Today the 1st EU-Central America Association Council brought together the EU and 6 Central American countries in Brussels. We will join forces to reduce the impact of climate change. The EU-LAC Memorandum of Understanding on Disaster Risk Management is contributing to this goal.

After Cuba 2024’s quakes, five-year-old Anderson’s school lay in ruins. But learning never stopped. With support from the EU and @UNICEFCuba, Anderson and over 1,000 children got back to learning in safe, temporary spaces—because disasters shouldn’t end education.
