We have started taking DYNA-1, our dexterous robust VLA model, to conferences and showcasing it for hours on end! The model run for 3 days, 8 hours each day at #HITEC2025 3 weeks ago with 99.9% overall success rate (dropped 1 towel in day 2). No intervention, it just works :)
This video from Dyna, gives a good idea for distance between the bimanual robot arm. Also one more dof around wrist or elbow would be handy!
try moving the shoulders farther apart so the two arms are more parallel during the hand-off the should avoid the awkward angle that requires wrist bending to avoid
Whenever I see something impressive in robotics, I always ask for a live demo. If they can’t demo it, it’s hard to believe it really works. I hope more companies do demos in the future to show the world their policies work beyond a cool video.

Our DYNA-1’s robustness on folding tasks is just incredible! As a roboticist, I didn’t know HITEC, but going to that conference brought us hundreds of customers. Anyone interested in seeing our demo in more robot learning conferences?

Incredible! I think CoRL, RSS, ICRA etc. should have a separate track for companies to showcase their VLA demos in-person. This gives people much better understanding than looking at well-edited videos on their websites.

- new demo task - new environment with hardware we just setup - robust to changes in lighting, people visible, etc - production ready quality and robustness - real businesses that are interested bc it provides real value it's a cook or get cooked world and we're cooking
