Meta-analysis on value of morphology instruction - teaching meaningful bits of words like "...ed" in "kicked" and "sorted". Effect sizes on reading and spelling small to moderate. Evidence of transfer to untrained words for spelling, but not reading. link.springer.com/article/10.100…
