Well a productive day. Had to take a vine strangled azalea down to the rootball, which is alive, and the horrible vines are out of the ground, but it's sad. They got away from me two years ago when I was terribly sick and couldn't work in the garden at all. It will come back.

Two great cigars. Sucommed to Palmetto State Armory sale around noon. (It took two direct emails. I tried to hold out.) Grazed on smoked meats and homemade Gravalax in the afternoon with a visitor or two. Ate fantastic shrimp for dinner. Pretty good Independence Day.
