Thank you @OHBM! And many thanks also to my co-authors @Josseli22932075 @DoriFloris @amarquand + my friends from @NeuroSpin_91 & @childmindinst that are concerned about reliability / reproducibility @TingsterX @AkiNikolaidis @MilhamMichael
@bttyeo developing spatially-heterogeneous large-scale circuit models using mean field models. #WhistlerBrain
Our latest PP led by @IvaIlioska, in collab. w/ @NSB_Lab @DondersInst. We use normative modelling to characterise the inter-individual variability of FC alterations in people with autism from individual edges to macroscale networks: tinyurl.com/mr4673cw
Our newest paper is out unveiling our '3D' approach to stratifying the autisms into type I vs type II. molecularautism.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…

Excited to share our latest preprint using EEG to identify excitation-inhibition imbalance neurosubtypes in autism. This is work led by @natannbertelsen and others in my lab @LAND_IIT: @tale_andrea, @dimitrisbolis, and Veronica Mandelli. medrxiv.org/content/10.110…
Errr I mean feb 25-28 2024!!!
***Big Announcement*** The Noosa Workshop on Brain Function, Organization, & Behaviour is back! Feb 25-28, 2004 Places are limited & reg closes Nov 20 so get in quick for some amazing speakers, sun, surf, and science! Details: monash.edu/turner-institu…
Functional brain organisation altered in #autism: @sofievalk @wanb_psych & collegues @BorisBernhardt @DoriFloris @hong_seok_jun investigated in @molpsychiatry whether asymmetries in autism are indicative of altered systematic 🧠organisation in general: cbs.mpg.de/2162353/202308…
Glad to see this one out 🌻 [1/n] ⬇️ nature.com/articles/s4139…
Thanks to all the very cool fMRI/gradients pioneers (many pictured here) for brainstorming how to study gradients in ENIGMA! Thanks @sofievalk @MMG_Kirschner @BorisBernhardt @ClaraMoreau9 @DoriFloris @IlyaVeer @HippocampusGirl @DanielMargulies will be fun trying this :) #OHBM2023
I am visiting @BorisBernhardt lab this summer & presenting my poster on asymmetry of functional gradients in autism @OHBM (# 1631)! Drop by poster sessions 3 & 4 for a chat! Collaborators @hong_seok_jun @rai_bethlehem @DoriFloris @BorisBernhardt @sofievalk
Fantastic to be at Stockholm for #INSAR2023 to connect with members past and present and friends of @Autism_UoR
Dr Hannah Savage @DrHannahSavage presenting about the what, when and why of normative modeling! Thanks for visiting us at #UZH and the great talk! More here: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

🎉🎉🎉🍻Our paper is now out in Biological Psychiatry! Check out Alex's tweet for a thread with our findings. I’m incredibly grateful to work with such amazing people! Thank you @AFornito, Jan Buitelaar and @M_Oldehinkel for all your guidance and support!
Out latest out now in @BiologicalPsyc1 by @IvaIlioska & a great collaborative team @NSB_Lab @DondersInst: A connectome-wide mega-analysis of FC disruptions in autism, incorporating data from 1824 people: doi.org/10.1016/j.biop…
Thanks Xavier for the opportunity to discuss why autism is both a difference and a disability and how society is failing autistic people at multiple levels in terms of not providing sufficient support for them in education, employment, and clinical services. It's time for change
I am very happy to share the conversation I had with the excellent @sbaroncohen. We discuss his research on #autism and talk about pattern seekers, systematizing, #neurodiversity, and many other topics. Hope everyone enjoys!
Great next stop at USC after #WhistlerBrain. @PTenigma @ClaraMoreau9 Thanks so much for having me and your interest in discussing my work (and sharing your views ;) )
Dr Dori Floris @DoriFloris noted that autism-related brain differences may relate to sex-/gender-related brain differences, mandating care in studying each; showcased her cool work w/ fMRI in ASD + by USC's @KE__Lawrence! Thanks so much for visiting us!! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jn…
Our new homotopic parcellation is now publicly available: github.com/ThomasYeoLab/C… Updated preprint can be found here: biorxiv.org/content/10.110… As usual, feel free to reach out to us if you have any issues.
(1/5) 🥳My homotopic parcellation paper is ready as a preprint! 🧠The lack of homotopy between left and right of the Schaefer parcels has limited its usage for brain lateralization studies. 💡Here, we extend our previous model to account for homotopy
